What the evidence says

Creators agree that spin is this paddle's strength, with one measuring 2,335 RPM and another calling it the fourth-highest spin reading in their database.[2, 9, 10, 12, 14, 15] The grit holds up in creator wear tests: one reported spin dropping only to 2,071 RPM, another said the face looked factory fresh after 50 hours, and one ranked it first for grit retention.[2, 9, 12, 13, 15] Owners report the same thing, with 6 of 67 consumer items analyzed saying the grit or face is holding up after anywhere from about 30 hours to 300 games.[3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8] Creators disagree most on power: one measured a 61.1 mph serve in the top tier of their database, while others put it in the middle or lower tier and found drives less penetrating.[9, 10, 11, 12, 14, 15] Pop rates above average, measured at 39.2 mph on punch volleys, and several reviewers warn that dinks and resets need care to avoid pop-ups.[9, 12, 13, 14, 15] Opinions on feel split: some creators call it stiff and slightly hollow, one calls it softer and denser, one never fully dialed it in, and 1 of 67 consumer items analyzed reports a lack of feel.[3, 9, 11, 12, 14, 15] Creators agree it swings light and quick, but they differ on stability as sold, with some calling it fine to play stock and others saying it improves with added weight.[9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15]

Player fit

Creators point it at players who put spin first and want that spin to last.[9, 10, 12, 13] It also suits net players who counter speed-ups and like hand battles, players willing to add lead tape, and two-handed backhand players who want a long handle.[9, 10] Several reviewers steer players away if they want a soft control paddle that absorbs pace or already struggle with their soft game, and players coming from softer paddles should expect to adjust to the pop.[9, 11, 13, 14] Creators also say it is a weaker pick for players who want maximum forgiveness with no tuning, players who want the most extreme pop, or players who already own a power paddle like the Loco or Boomstick.[11, 15]
